This is where I made the leap, from marketing copywriter to product design. Transitioning at a unicorn gave me something invaluable: a strong foundation built alongside an established team that knew how to ship at scale.

What I learned fast:

Embedded myself in the full design process; not just writing copy, but actively participating in research, testing, and iteration. I worked tightly with designers, researchers, and PMs to understand how content decisions ripple across the user experience.

Led content initiatives while absorbing how product teams operate: the trade-offs, the constraints, the collaboration required to move from concept to launch. It was a masterclass in thinking like a product person, not just a writer.

This experience shaped how I approach UX writing today: strategic, collaborative, and grounded in the realities of building products that millions use.
